“Nature formed me fierce.” Lady Caroline Lamb
Lady Caroline Lamb was a British aristocrat and a novelist. Her exploits were legendary, even for our time. Her husband was the 2nd Viscount Melbourne, the Prime Minister, but she is best known for her scandalous affair with Lord Byron in 1812. She said Lord Byron was “mad, bad, and dangerous to know.” She never took her own advice. But there was so much more to her life, so I will be coming back to Lady Caroline Lamb in future blogs.
