After all of the hugs and greetings, the coffees and the dinners, the visits and the trips…friends come to understand each other. It takes time, but I think it may be one of the greatest gifts we can give and receive.

Adding to Seneca! I received an email today with a photo of a person and a dog sitting on a park bench looking into each others eyes, so cute! The caption: “If I could give you one thing in life, I wolud give you the ability to see yourself through my eyes. Only then would you realize how special you are to me.” (Unknown) True friendship, I think.
