  2. I see you have quoted Robert Burns. I was not acquainted with this poem but have studied a little about “To a Mouse” and “To a Louse”–both worth reflection. It is my understanding that the title “Of Mice and Men” came from “To a Mouse.” But, I regress–but who better to write your quote than Bobby Burns.

    1. We buy locally too! Vancouver has several farmer markets in the summer time. And then there is one “indoor” farmer’s market when the weather turns cold!

    1. The subject of food distribution is something that I have always been interested in…you just gave me another post idea! Going forward, this topic will become ever more important.       1. I agree! … and I can’t wait to see that post. The photo I have for my gravatar is of some larkspur I grew about 6 years ago. Larkspur is one of my favorite flowers. It comes in so many different vibrant colors. And keeps its color even after drying it.
