  1. Hi Rebecca

Have been in France for a fortnight and haven’t been blogging at all. This was the first post waiting for me on my return. Beautiful photograph and what an inspirational man. Nelson Mandela is one of the great people of our time. Did you get to see the film “Invictus”? I loved it and thought it did alot to bring the spirit of Nelson Mandela to another audience who may not have grown up with him.

Hope all is well with you. I took alot of photographs on my French trip. You are right. Photography does help you to look at the world in a different way.

    With love

    1. Welcome back, Corinne! I knew that you had to be on some kind of an adventure. Looking forward to seeing your photos of France. Yes, I did see Invictus – enjoyed every moment. Nelson Mandela has a timeless message for generations yet to come.

    1. Yes, it would, Ed…so much could be accomplished for the good. Have you ever noticed that flowers are the most well-behaved subjects – they also give their best pose and seem to love cameras. As I walk by, they call out to me, “I’m here! Take a photo me me….”

    1. I love your review of Invictus!! Morgan Freeman was outstanding in his portrayal. I have the book “Playing The Enemy: Nelson Mandela And The Game That Made A Nation” by John Carlin, but I haven’t had a chance to read it yet. It is on the top of my “to read” list, but alas, my list keeps on growing and growing and growing…
