The Humble Change the World

“The whole course of human history may depend on a change of heart in one solitary and even humble individual – for it is in the solitary mind and soul of the individual that the battle between good and evil is waged and ultimately won or lost.”

 M. Scott Peck

A groundswell begins with one. Individual effort does make a difference – even in this complex, perilously divided world.  It starts with a humble heart that longs for peace and hope.  May we walk with courage and humility…our voices joining others of like-minded spirit.

  1. That’s why the blue will define the world ! Do you remember my starting novel ? A pure blue is the color of inspiration, sincerity and spirituality … maybe it means “The Humble Change the World”. What do you think about my theory ?
I wish you beautiful days, Rebecca !

    1. Well said! I agree – colour has an extraordinary affect on our emotional outlook, whether we or not we recognize the influence. Colours create nuances in our environment that are both seen and unseen. Blue represents the sky, ascent and the heavens – sincerity and spirituality.

    1. My father gave me several books by M.Scott Peck (which, I must confess are still on my growing list of “to read” books) In our inter-connected world, where collectivism is encouraged, it is so easy to lose perspective on individual effort. I agree wholeheartedly – it is in the teaching, the learning which is embedded during the formative years. Well, it appears that my focus for the coming week will be education – does it matter? I look forward to your insightful comments!!! I appreciate your visits!!!
