Rule # 1 – Sing today, and sing for every tomorrow…

Rule # 2 – Refer back to Rule # 1

  1. “Alas for those that never sing, but die with all their music in them.” Arrgh! That is the scariest thought ever.

    1. Thank you, Cindy! Have you ever noticed that some rules are so bad that you look for ways to break them. And there are other rules that your embrace, without hesitation, because you know them to be true.

    1. I agree – your cat would be very interested in “roses de Noël”. And they are not good to eat. My secret is that I take photos of them and then put the photos on my computer screen. Thank you so much for your visit!!!

    1. I once read that a friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words. Thank you for giving me wonderful words to begin my day…

  2. ‘Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.’ Is this not the essence of Holmes? What better way to go forward than with a song in our heart and a smile on our face to make sure we release the music from within.

Oh, and the quote? Our old friend Thoreau – we haven’t heard from him recently, have we!

    1. Indeed, it is the essence of Holmes. Interesting that you should have brought up our old friend Thoreau. I was looking at one of his thoughts just this morning and it goes along nicely with your quote! “As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives.” Henry David Thoreau
