Yes he did!!! Knowing the truth is the first step towards transformation. Over the past two years, I have learned to recycle; I walk, rather than drive, to the grocery store. I have reduced our family’s food wastage and now I look closely at what I am buying to ensure fair trade. Everyday decisions make a difference! Thank you so much for joining the dialogue!

Thank you, couldn’t agree more with Hawking’s idea. In fact each day I sense that the world is not heading to a right direction, this feeling is annoying sometimes depressing, I try to do bits and pieces (like what you mentioned say walk more or reduce food wastage etc…) to counter such ‘wrong directional feeling’, need to do more, or convince others to do more, just to make differences for the sake of a better world.

I share your concern! David Brower said, “We don’t inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.” Every day, I look for ways to make a difference. Your presence and comments gives me hope because I think that we are heading toward a tipping point. I believe that with our ability to communicate, we will see more and more people involved in environmental concerns. Especially young people, who recognize what is happening to our world. Consumerism is being rejected by more and more people. Frugality, sharing resources, starting community gardens are individual efforts that, when combined, speak loud and clear.
