The Last Smile

Last Smile

“If you smile when no one else is around, you really mean it.”

Andy Rooney

At the end of the day, we are left with our reflections and memories.  May the last thought you have bring a smile to your face, and lightness to your sleep.  For tomorrow, dawns a new adventure.

“Better by far you should forget and smile that you should remember and be sad.”

Christina Rossetti

  1. Yes, it’s lovely to go to sleep with a smile on your face. I have a photo of my grandparents next to my bed. It is the last thing I see before I turn out the beside lamp. They always bring a smile to my face.

    1. Memories are gold, especially when you can look back and smile or laugh. I think that is why I am so determined to chose the right path for me today, because it creates memories for the future. I have learned the past is always with us….one way or another!

  2. I had a dream years ago and I woke up laughing. There was really nothing funny in the dream at all.
We usually can’t remember our dreams or at least I can’t. They are there one moment and gone the next.
But I still see this one and I smile and break out in uncontrollable laughter just thinking about it.

(what a goofy response lol )

I do think we smile and laugh to ourselves more than we realize. 🙂 🙂 🙂

    1. I agree wholeheartedly – and the older I get, the more I have to laugh about! 🙂
